When I first discovered the Heyer Power Foundation, it was through the Cancer Warrior Support group. I was looking for a community of people who were going through similar struggles as me, and that’s exactly what I found. The support group is truly amazing, and I quickly realized that the Heyer Power Foundation is much more than just a charity organization. It’s a community of warriors who support each other through faith, fitness, fuel, family, and focus.

One of my favorite memories of the support group was when we all shared our experiences and found that the bible study guide we read afterwards perfectly matched the theme of our shares. This gave me hope and encouragement that God was listening to our prayers. It’s moments like these that really make the Heyer Power Foundation stand out.

Through the foundation, I’ve gained a tremendous amount of energy and faster recovery from my workouts thanks to clean fuels like Kangen water, Celery Detox and Immunity Elixir. Since starting on this combination, I’ve been able to run an average of 15 miles per week – something that I never thought would be possible after being diagnosed with cancer. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful to the foundation for providing me with the resources to help me become stronger both physically and mentally.

One piece of advice that I would give to other cancer warriors is that while Western Medicine is indeed a Godsend, Western Medicine alone is not the answer. The Heyer Power Foundation provides a unique set of resources that allows you to fight cancer on a plane unparalleled by medicine alone. The foundation has helped me find a balance between my medical treatments and alternative therapies, and I truly believe that this balance has been key to my recovery.

What sets this foundation apart from others is that it’s run by those who have met the enemy first hand and have a passion that is unparalleled. They understand the struggles that cancer warriors face on a daily basis and are dedicated to providing the support and resources that we need to keep fighting. Through the fellowship that the foundation brings, a sense of belonging comes through that takes the edge off the sense of loneliness that often accompanies cancer.

My hope for the foundation is that more individuals battling cancer will join and that the foundation will be able to reach more people afflicted with this illness to help them become cancer warriors. I know firsthand how much of a difference the Heyer Power Foundation can make in someone’s life, and I want to see as many people benefit from their incredible work as possible.

To the donors and volunteers who make this foundation possible, I would simply say ‘thank you’. You have a chance to change lives in a way no other foundation can for a group that constantly stares the enemy in the face and says – ‘not today enemy, not today’. Your support means more than you can ever know, and I am so grateful for everything that you do.
