The Heyer Power Foundation has been an incredible discovery for me. As a cancer warrior, I had no idea that such a foundation existed that understands the importance of fueling our bodies in this fight. From the moment I reached out to them, they have been nothing short of amazing. The foundation has sent me juices and water over the last year, which has been a great financial help for me. Thanks to their products, I’ve been able to regain some of my strength and mobility that I lost due to neuropathy pain. I went from barely being able to walk from my bed to the bathroom to being able to walk a mile with my daughter. I can’t stress enough how much these products have helped me.
Gary, the head of the foundation, has been my mentor, friend, and brother in Christ. I still remember the day he dropped off water and juices for the first time. My parents got to meet him, and they could see that I could thrive like him. It was a turning point for me, and I’ll never forget it. Joining the foundation’s support group has also been one of the best things that has happened to me. It’s a place where I get support from other cancer warriors who truly understand what I’m going through. I have good support from my family and friends, but this is different. The Heyer Power Foundation has impacted my life in ways that I could have never imagined.
I wish more patients knew about this foundation and that hospitals could point them in this direction. I know that there are so many people out there who are fighting their own battles and who could benefit from the support and resources that the Heyer Power Foundation provides. My hope for the future is that more people can know about this foundation, and that those who are able to give financially will do so, so that people like me can continue to be blessed by their products and resources.
To the donors and volunteers who make this foundation possible, I want to say a big thank you. You have changed my life and allowed me to be as normal as a wife and mom can be while battling stage 4 colorectal cancer with liver metastases. I will forever be grateful for this foundation and for everything that you do to support people like me. The Heyer Power Foundation is truly a beacon of hope for cancer warriors everywhere.
